For the last 19 years, I was absolutely certain about one thing: I am a Tech Guy.
I built my career, my reputation, and my businesses on the premise that I speak the language of machines, algorithms, and complex systems. I thought my value lay in my ability to configure systems, create business plans, and automate processes.
But recently, as part of my 2026 “Harvest” Strategy, I decided to challenge my own assumptions.
I decided to “eat my own dog food” and go through my proprietary framework, Identity OS, from scratch.
But I didn’t just fill out a questionnaire. I conducted a Double-Blind AI Experiment. And the results didn’t just surprise me — they completely rewired how I see my value to the world.
The Methodology
To get an unbiased look at my “Factory Settings,” I used two isolated Artificial Intelligence models:
- The “Zero Knowledge” Model: I fed a clean AI model with raw data from my life — my honest answers to deep questions about my Ikigai, values, fears, and dreams — without giving it any context about my career or public image.
- The “Full Context” Model: I compared this with my AI-assistant (Theo), who knows my entire business history, failures, and victories.
I wanted to know: Where do these two independent systems intersect? That intersection is the Truth.
The Assumption vs. The Reality
My Hypothesis:
“My Ikigai (Reason for Being) is building technical systems. My superpower is Logic.”
The AI Findings:
Both models, independently of each other, pointed to something entirely different.
The “Zero Knowledge” model highlighted that my deepest drive isn’t technology — it is Empathy. It noted that I use logic only as a tool to protect people from chaos.
The “Full Context” model went further, defining me not as an Architect, but as a Bridge. It identified that my role is to translate “Cold Innovation” into “Human Happiness”.
The Revelation: Empathy is a Technology
This was a paradigm shift.
I realized that for nearly two decades, I had been selling the tool (Technology) instead of the result (Clarity & Safety).
My “Source Code” isn’t in HTML, PHP, Python or C++.
My Source Code is Unrelenting Optimism.
In a world paralyzed by the fear of AI, war, and uncertainty, my true value isn’t adding more tools to your stack. It is removing the noise so you can hear yourself think. I am not here to help you “do more.” I am here to help you BE MORE.
Why This Matters to You
We often build our lives on outdated operating systems. We pursue careers based on what we are good at, not what we are designed for. This leads to burnout, “imposter syndrome,” and a lack of fulfillment.
