Day 7/90: The Invisible Foundation and the Illusion of Control
Today is Sunday. A day of reflection. But today there will be no insights about sales funnels, numbers, or business systems. Today I want to talk about the Foundation that holds everything together.
Last night, a mass shooting occurred in Kyiv. It happened just a few steps away from our former residential complex, at the exact time and on the exact street where we used to walk our dog every day and go to the grocery store and the gym.
We moved out of there 5-6 months ago. The reason? At the time, we lost our entire income and our business as a whole, and it felt like a crisis. It felt like a step backward, a financial defeat that needed to be urgently fixed.
But today, hugging my girls, I realize one simple and powerful truth: what we call a “defeat” or a “loss” is often God’s absolute protection.
We often plan our lives, get angry at closed doors, and feel disappointed over broken contracts or temporary financial storms. We think we are in control of the situation. But we don’t see the whole picture. God used that financial pause as a tool to physically remove my family from the site of a future tragedy.
In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.
PROVERBS 16:9
We can build the best systems in the world, but true peace does not come from perfect spreadsheets or closed deals. Against the backdrop of real life—with its dangers, war, and chaos—all petty conflicts, toxic debtors, or business problems look simply ridiculous.
The only reason for joy, peace, and steadfastness in the greatest storms is Jesus Christ. He is our anchor. When the world around you shakes, you can stand tall not because you are so strong, but because you know exactly who you are standing on.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
JOHN 14:27
This week brought many great business results. But my main takeaway from the first 7 days of the marathon is this: I am merely an instrument. All the glory, every victory, and every peaceful evening of my family belongs to Him.
Do not ignore the closed doors in your life. Perhaps right now He is saving you from something you cannot yet see.
Have a blessed Sunday. Turn your eyes to the One who truly holds your life in His hands 🙏🏻
